Uganda
A little over a year since its inception on June 25th 2010, when Mr. Emil Hagamu and Fr. Jonathan Opio met in Tororo, HLI Uganda has taken great strides in spreading the Gospel of Life throughout the country. Fr. Jonathan and his team have focused on chastity talks for the youth, NFP and marriage counseling for couples and providing counseling and material assistance for abortion-minded women facing a crisis pregnancy. As December 12th approaches, the 1 year anniversary of their official launch, HLI Uganda continues to be an example, working
diligently and tirelessly as pro-life missionaries.
Zimbabwe
When I booked Kenya Airways, I believed I made the best decision because in this part of Africa, they have taken monopoly of air travel.But to my surprise, I was shocked to learn that the airline is one of the most cumbersome airlines in the continent. I immediately remembered John Fusto who had to spend eight hours at Dar es Salaam International Airport when he was traveling to Nairobi during his visit to Africa in 2007. Instead of arriving in Harare on October 14 at 1030hrs, I spent the whole day traveling and arrived on October 15 at 0510hrs in the morning. I was received at the airport by my host Madam Monica Chihambakwe who had spent the whole night waiting for me.
